XVII INTENSIVE INTER-AMERICAN TRAINING COURSE

Continuing with the Training Program for the year 2003, the Public Budget International Association sponsors the XVII INTENSIVE INTER-AMERICAN TRAINING COURSE ON FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION AND CONTROL IN THE NATIONAL PUBLIC SECTOR, which is being held from Monday, October 6 to Friday, November 21, with a total duration of a hundred and thirty three (133) hours.

There were invited to participate officials with professional title, related to the Areas of Governmental Financial Administration (Budget, Treasury, Public Credit, Accountancy and Control), National Public Administration of the Republic of Argentina (Central Administration and Decentralized Organisms) and Public Administration of Latin America and the Caribbean countries (Spanish language), who granted credit to professional title and accepted being evaluated during the development of the course.

This event takes place at the Center for Training and Studies of the National Secretariat of Economy, Ministry of Economy, Public Works and Public Services of the Republic of Argentina located at Hipólito Yrigoyen 250, 3rd Floor, office Nº 326, Buenos Aires - Argentina.

Purposes of this course

  • Promote knowledge on the public sector (its institutional and administrative organization and specifically about the financial administration and control system).
  • Consolidate theoretical knowledge in the Financial Administration Control Systems of the Public Sector (Budget, Public Credit, Treasury and Accountancy) developing effective management attitudes that tend to the generation of reliable and opportune information to the decision making and an optimal management of public resources in a framework of absolute transparency.
  • To know the support systems related to the Financial Administration of the Public Sector (Computerization, Hiring, Government Properties and Human Resources) understanding its relevance in the instrumentation of an efficient public management.
  • Describe the roll and main functions of the Control Bodies (SIGEN and AGN) and its interrelation with de Financial Administration System.
  • Promote the continuous critical analysis of the organizations and its structures, in the framework of National State.
